Reliable equipment is the basis of modern industry and the guarantee of product consistency. Equipment management is about maintaining the inherent reliability of equipment. The ultimate goal of equipment reliability is zero accidents, zero failures, zero waste, zero kilometers (maintain factory condition). The following describes some application cases of device management.
1 two single management
The second order refers to the repair order and the dispatch order, and the second order is used to manage the daily work of the machine repair personnel. The repair order corresponds to emergency maintenance, and the dispatch order corresponds to planned maintenance. The repair bill has been described in detail in the abnormal Management of Equipment, and this article focuses on the dispatch order. Dispatch order is a way to assign scheduled maintenance to the mechanic in the form of tasks. Assignment tasks include hazards of production equipment and facilities, preventive maintenance tasks, temporary tasks on site and improvement needs. The flow of work orders should tend to be simplified, and complex processes are often unable to be executed in place, so the focus of work orders is on the process, and the purpose of task arrangement and tracking can be achieved.
The content filling of the dispatch order is divided into two parts: the dispatch worker filling in and the implementer filling in.
1.1 Send workers to fill in
Assign dedicated personnel to carry out the scheduling of planned maintenance tasks. When sending workers to fill in, it is necessary to fill in the equipment number in detail, describe the task, and specify the task leader and the planned completion date.

The implementer shall fill in the implementation plan, the spare parts received, and the final work: completion of work, clean material, and clear site.
2 Five procedures
Reliable equipment needs to be maintained by operators and machine repair personnel, and the five procedures include three manufacturing procedures and two maintenance procedures.
2.1 Three manufacturing procedures
The operator operates the equipment every day, every minute is deepening the cognition of the equipment, the operator as the person who has the longest contact time with the equipment, the state of the equipment is clearly understood, the abnormal sound and overheating of the equipment parts, the operator is the first to perceive that as long as the operator cares about the equipment as much as the appliances in his own home, the reliability of the equipment will naturally be maintained. The maintenance of the equipment by the operator lies in cleaning, operation and spot inspection, which produces three manufacturing procedures: equipment cleaning procedures, equipment operating procedures and equipment spot inspection procedures.
2.2 Two rules of preservation
The mechanic is the doctor of the equipment. The mechanic uses his professional skills to carry out inspection and maintenance on the equipment to maintain the reliability of the equipment. Equipment inspection is also the use of five senses to identify hidden dangers of equipment in advance and prevent them from happening. Equipment maintenance is to prolong the service life of the equipment through lubrication, cleaning and fastening to avoid equipment downtime. For example, the bearing should be regularly lubricated, the filter should be regularly cleaned, the electric box strong current joint should be regularly tightened, and the key screws should be made anti-loose identification, so as to extend the service life of components and parts and maintain the reliability of the equipment.

3 Equipment History
Equipment history is a case card of equipment, which records the abnormality and transformation of the whole process from design to scrap. Equipment resume can be used as the experience set of equipment updating iteration. Designers should absorb the historical experience to improve the equipment when designing new equipment. Equipment history can be used as a manual for machine repair personnel to provide guidance for the quick solution of faults; Equipment history can be used as a basis for equipment maintenance and improvement, identifying repeated failures and common class anomalies, and pooling resources to solve and improve critical failures.
Equipment resume mainly includes two aspects: basic information and anomaly and dispatch records
3.1 Basic Information
The basic information of the equipment history includes the equipment name, asset number, manufacturer, specifications, model, purchase date, price, and equipment accessories and tools.
3.2 Anomaly and dispatch records
The exception and dispatch record contains the exception and dispatch date, number, content, and related working hours and expenses.
Our equipment history started with electronic files and document archiving, and has been upgraded to paperless cloud storage mode in July 2024. Once the basic information of the equipment is purchased, it is entered into the cloud system, and the exception processing and dispatch are adopted
In paperless flow mode, repair orders and dispatch orders are automatically associated with the corresponding equipment.
Equipment management is a full participation in the maintenance work, designers to design reliable equipment, operators to treat their own electrical appliances to operate and maintain equipment, machine repair personnel not only when the equipment doctor, but also often to the equipment for medical examination and timely elimination of hidden dangers, so that the service life of the equipment will be extended, the inherent reliability of the equipment will be maintained.
